Payables and spend control

Every vendor bill checked before it's owed.

Cortex reads each bill the moment it lands, matches it to the PO, the receipt, the contract and what your warehouse actually stored and shipped, and shows you what you owe, when it is due and where spend is heading.

Works with SAP Business One, NetSuite, QuickBooks and Xero

How it moves

From reorder to payment, each step run by an agent.

A purchase or a bill is handled by one agent at a time and moves on when its step is done. Each agent runs through on its own within its level; conflicts reach a person, and only the person who owns them.

Checked against operations

Your storage bill, against what your warehouse actually held.

Most AP tools stop at the PO. Storage, freight and 3PL bills have no PO line to match, so overbilling hides in units. Cortex reads the billed units, converts them, and checks them day by day against the source that measured them.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Does Cortex pay vendors?

No. It proposes pay dates and places holds in your ERP. Your existing payment process moves the money.

When does a bill hit our books?

PO goods are accrued by your ERP at receipt. Cortex posts the bill against that receipt once it is matched and approved; non-PO bills are recognized at posting. Your controller confirms the rules at setup.

Who approves what?

Your own roles, approval ladder and dollar limits, the same ones every Ferrata product uses. Nobody releases their own request.

What do the agents do on their own?

Each agent runs through on its own within the level you give it. Conflicts and anything outside a guardrail always wait for a person, and each of those decisions becomes feedback for the next run.

Who reads our documents?

Models running in Ferrata's own AWS account: Amazon Bedrock for understanding each document and Amazon Textract for positions and confidence. Your documents are not used to train models for anyone else.

Bring one vendor and a month of bills.

We run them through Cortex in shadow against your ERP and show you what it would have caught. If the problem is upstream of payables, we say so.

Pricing is set with each company in the private beta: 10 credits per agent run, reading included.
