Three-way match

Match every bill to what you ordered and what arrived.

Cortex pairs each bill line with its PO line and the receipt that proves the goods came, converts units where the vendor bills differently, and holds back anything billed beyond what was received.

Oat flour ordered
104 bags
Received
90 bags, 14 rejected at the dock
Billed
104 bags at $46.00
Billback
14 × $46.00 = $644.00

The bill posts at the received amount, and a debit memo goes to the vendor with the receipt attached.

On its own, and what waits

Runs through within its level. Conflicts wait for a person.

An agent with a level acts on its own within that level’s dollar limit; without one, every step waits. Anything that conflicts or falls outside a guardrail always waits, and each decision teaches the next run.

On its own

What it does

Reads and classifies every document. Runs every check and attaches the evidence. Codes every line. Proposes the pay date. Allocates each billed unit to its receipt line.

Waits for a person

What it holds

A price outside the band. A PO it cannot find. Every debit memo before it reaches the vendor.

Your tolerances, sites, units and rules are your own: set for your contracts, not fitted to a template.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about three-way match.

What if the bill arrives before the goods?

It waits in PO match, parked, and wakes the moment the receipt is recorded. It is never approved against goods that have not arrived.

Can two bills claim the same delivery?

No. Every billed unit is allocated to a receipt line in a ledger, so a unit received once can be billed once.
